Lumbini, the birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Shakya prince, the Enlightened One, is one of the pilgrimage destinations for the worlds million of people who follow Buddhism. This place is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The main attraction at the Lumbini is the Sacred Garden spread over 08 sq. km and all the treasures possessed of the Historic Area. The oldest monument of Nepal, Mayadevi Shrine is located in Lumbini. Mayadevi, gave birth to Siddhartha Gautam, now known as Lord Buddha in this place. You can also find an amazing pillar, built by Emperor Ashoka in 249BC to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site. To the south of the pillar, we find the sacred pond, Puskarni, where Queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha. There are other places of interest too nearby. More than 10 countries have built their identity in their own style in temples, stupas or monasteries in Lumbini Area which is another attraction in Lumbini. Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Kathmandu–Lumbini

    Early morning after breakfast drive to Lumbini (08 Hours) in a private vehicle (Haice/ Car/ Coaster). You have also either option. You can take a flightto Lumbini or even drive from other places of Nepal – Sunauli Border, Mugling, Chitwan or Pokhara. Upon arrival transfer to Hotel and overnight in Hotel in Lumbini
  • Day 2

    Lumbini

    Early morning after breakfast, sightseeing to different monasteries, built by different countries of the world in Lumbini Area (approximately 03 and half hours). Have lunch and after lunch in the afternoon sightseeing to Kapilvastu, birth place of Shakyamuni Budhha. Overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 3

    Lumbini-Kathmandu

    After breakfast return back to Kathmandu or either cities of Nepal by flight or by road.
