Trip Overview

The Lower Dolpo Trek is supposed for real adventurers wishing for an off-the-beaten-path expertise. The trek passes through Shey-Phoksundo National Park with spectacular mountain scenery, Buddhist monasteries and yak caravans. Our trek takes us through a tree-plant, then load through rugged canyons within the barren plateau close to the border with Tibet. when your arrival in Kathmandu, build a historical and cultural tour of Kathmandu valley and monuments whereas we tend to acquire special allow for the lower Dopla trekking.     Arrival Day

    Our office staff will be waiting at the airport to greet you. A short drive from the airport to the Hotel

    Kathmandu

    Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. In the evening a brief discussion and preparation of our trekking
  • Day 3

    Katmandu– Beni

    After breakfast early morning drive to Beni Bazaar. (770m)
  • Day 4

    Beni – Tara Khet

    Today is the first day of our trekking. We trek from Beni Bazaar to Tara Khet which is on the altitude of 970m
  • Day 5

    Tara Khet – Dangya Khola

    Today we trek from Tara Khet to Danyga Khola which is on the altitude of 1125m
  • Day 6

    Dangya Khola - Muna

    By this day we will already be familiar with the trekking. We trek from Danyga Khola (Phedi) to Muna (1885m)
  • Day 7

    Muna- Mooreni – Jaljala

    Today we our trek reaches the altitude of 3,390m by the place name Jaljali all the way crossing Moreni
  • Day 8

    Jaljala - Dhorpatan

    We trek from Jaljala to Dhorpatan (2830m)
  • Day 9

    Dhorpatan – Takur

    We trek from Dhorpatan to Takur (3190m)

    Takur – Pelma

    Since, the altitude is increasing day by day, we require a day for acclimatization to avoid altitude sickness. So, today we rest at Do Tarap for acclimatization

    Do Tarap – Tok Khyu high Camp

    We trek from Do Tarap to Tok-Khyu High camp (4390m)
  • Day 20

    Tok Khyu - Pelungtang

    We trek from Tok-Khyu High Camp to Pelungtang (4465m) all through the magnificent Tok-Khyu Cross Numa La (5318m
  • Day 21

    Pelungtang – Dajok Tang

    We trek from Pelungtang to Dajok Tang (4080m) all thought the Pelungtang Cross Baga La (5190m)
  • Day 22

    Dajok Tang – Phoksundo Lake

    We trek from Dajok Tang to Phoksundo Lake((3730m)
  • Day 23

    Phoksundo Lake

    We camp a day around Phoksundo Lake for Excursion around Phoksundo Lake, one of the Lake at highest altitude
  • Day 24

    Phoksundo Lake - Chepka

    We trek from Phoksumdo Lake to Chepka (2670m)
  • Day 25

    Chepka – Suli Gaad

    We trek from Chepka trek Suli Gaad (2070m)
  • Day 26

    Suli Gaad - Juphal

    Today is the end of our trekking. We trek from Suli Gaad to Juphal (2490m)
  • Day 27

    Juphal - Nepalgunj - Kathmandu

    We take the first flight to Nepalgunj from Juphal and then connect the same day flight to Kathmand. Pick up from Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel
  • Day 28

    Kathmandu

    You will have a free day in Kathmandu to relax and do some shopping
  • Day 29

    Departure Day

    Our guide and vehicle will drop you to the Airport few hours before yours scheduled flight time

NOTE: Be aware that flights Jomsom / Pokhara , can be delayed by 1 to 2 days because of bad weather and airlines. We can in no case be liable for any resulting problems. In this case if the urgent return to your departure date, we can arrange a jip for the return from jomson about 15 hrs.

All participants must provide proof of personal or collective insurance with the rescue helicopter accident in the mountains and our call to your country  for this insurance. In the event that insurance would not cover the rescue helicopter, participants must commit in writing to cover the cost of rescue / repatriation helicopter.

Food during the trek: The trek mountain food is based on rice, pasta, and potatoes (and porridge for breakfast.). These are carbohydrates, which are the ideal food for well walking. Treks in lodges, Lunches, hot meals are taken in lodges. Meals are  ordered  which is available in each lodge, but according to the menu proposed by the lodges.

TREKS IN LODGE. The lodges are simple mountain shelters, with food (local food very correct) and rooms (Rooms very simple 2 or 4 beds, unless they are juggled or dormitories. In every room Lodge farm to wash or shower is tap). The treks in lodge are very user friendly, because they can approach closer to the lives of Nepali mountain and make every day meeting new people. They can also be warm inside during the cold season.

** hiking guide is allowed to change the itinerary depending on weather conditions and the physical condition of participants. Each participant who stop his trek or make this trek faster than, can not  claim a refund from us.

Price Includes

Treks in lodges with meals and the Standard Hotel: All the trek in full board. All the transports (go / back on the places of trek and during the trek). Accompanied  by a professional guide and a porter for 2 persons (maximum 20 kg for 2 persons). Reception at the airport, transfer hotel / airport, return flights reconfirmation. Hotel standard with breakfast included in Thamal and Pokhara near to fewa lake . All permits for trekking, domestic airport taxes. Insurance for porter and guide. All the expenses for porter and guide as lodging, footing and their salaries.
